By train
Deventer Central Station Main Entrance; bear left at the station square; cross the pedestrian bridge, cross the road and walk straight on into Keizerstraat; bear left at the end into "de Brink" and cross the square. In the middle of the square, you will find the Deventer Historical Museum in 'de Waag', the old weigh-house.
By car
Follow the signs for "centrum" from the A1. You will enter the town centre along the river IJssel. Follow the signs for the Wilhelminabrug parking area. The Deventer Historical Museum is about 250 metres from there. The Deventer Historical Museum is located in 'de Waag', the weigh-house, a beautiful late Gothic building in the middle of de Brink. The Tourist Information (VVV) museum shop is also located there.
